Watched “Denise the Menace” this morning with syila. had a good laugh though I only managed to catch up halfway. I was busy cooking, had chicken soup for lunch.
and we were wondering how does ‘Denise’ looks like right now, so here it is;

Honestly, I seriously don’t know how to control kids. Especially the ones who are annoying, mischievous and trouble maker. My younger cousins are included, some of them are such a spoilt brat. If they want something, they’ll get it. And I don’t get it. How come a 6 year old kid can have his own cell phone? okay, maybe for security, but again. My cousins are also very good at sulking. Like seriously. urgh, cant stand them.
Maybe thats the main reason why I chose secondary schools over primary. ;P
Babies are exception though, I loveeeee babies! They’re so innocent and pure.

Pantun 2 kerat
So I watched this malay series called “Kasih Tercipta” starred by Nasha Aziz and Aaron Aziz. The drama was okay, what catched my attention was the way that sometimes they use pantun 2 kerat yang poyo to convey the dialogues.
Here’s some of the examples:
“Hari ni bukan hari selase, buat pe nak terase2”
“Tiket tol buah nangke, memang tak sangke”

Chatted with a friend on ym. was too excited to tell him about the pantun thingy, so ajak him to play around. :D
He was reluctant to join at first, but I insisted so yeahh. Girl power!! hehe. We were replying each others pantun, but I got bored towards the end so I just stopped. Tapi ya Allah, mamat ni terlebih excited pulak. Some of his pantuns memang no sense at all, but hell yeah it was funny.
“Pagi petang tengok kartun, cakap nak berbalas pantun” -> when I told him I got bored already (padahal takde idea plus malas hihi)
“Pergi ke kedai membeli bunga, mood lari ke mana” -> He was still trying.
“Ari ari makan jering, bile boleh kite dating” -> I was like, errrr. Long pause.
“Pegi pasar beli ikan, pegi la makan” -> I was looking for a reason to stop the conversation before it went more mengarut, yes out for breakfast/lunch/dinner is always the best solution hehe.
“Ikan emas ikan tenggiri, makan la megi” -> when I told him I have no idea what to cook
“Ikan emas ikan kembong, makan la mihun” -> This one totally ridiculous and no sense, kembong and mihun tak rhyme langsung! =.=”
Still, this made my day today. Walaupon ade orang over tsk tsk!

- Done with my microteaching. I think I started off pretty bad but it turned out fine at the end. But, Amanda thought my lesson was not really task-based. Well, its a 10 mins lesson, what do you expect rite? Plus, this is the first week. And I’m the 2nd presenter for today. Hmmph. Feeling a bit sad, but gotta buck up with the 800 words of reflection writing.
- I also have to submit William’s assignment next week. We have to do in pairs and my partner is anis. Dah la I don’t really understand the assignment, dah la subject William yang $%^* and dah la 30%! :(
- I just don’t like William. I don’t think he functions really well as a lecturer. He doesn’t really teach. He just gather us in groups, discuss questions, create level 3 questions, and when you are done you have to knock on the table. And these happen in every lectures/tutes. Imagine!
- Enough with academic stuff. Hmm, we might go back to Msia on the second week of Dec, and the proposed date is 12/12. Some might go back earlier though. Hanin said MAS flight to KL from Sydney is usually in the afternoon, so we might reach KL at night. Told umi about this (dengan harapan dorang akan turun KL amek kat KLIA so bole stay poya2 kat KL sehari dua) tapi hancus. Umi siap cakap, “eh bagus la. MAS last flight to KB around 1030pm, sempat kan? umi sambut along kat KB je laaahh”. EEE Sedih!
- It’s 3.07 am, I just woke up and feeling hungreeeyhhh right now. Oh yea, I still have Oporto chicken downstairs but too lazy to get out from my comfortable blanky. And guess what, I think the roomie just talk in her sleep. Quite used to it anyway, hehehe ;)

My youngest sista sent me Raya card the other day and she wrote, “Semoga Along sihat sejahtera dan tidak dijangkiti H1N1”

Anyways, raya was fun. In fact we are still celebrating it after two weeks, we had open house yesterday. I even got a new nickname, which is YB! Apparently they thought my baju raya that I wore on the first day looked more like a wanita umno haih. Tapi takpe takpe, bukan slalu org bole panggil YB, ye dak? uhuk uhuk
Mfest was held last week. I screwed up the dancing part, you know when the nerve kicked in, uhh normal case. The special artistes brought from Msia, Reza Salleh, Liyana, Rashdan Harith and One Buck Short were just awesome. Glad they came to down under, made such big difference yo!
Classes commence in 2 days. Owh I’m such a lazy arse, I have to prepare for microteaching which I don’t even have the slightest idea of what should I do. Its this thurs ish ish and I’m the second presenter aiyoyo.
Okay thats all. I miss my family. and baby’s new cat named Dora (the explorer?) is just so adorable. Can’t wait though I’m not a big fan of cats.
